About Shifter Doctor

Shifter Doctor is a French business specializing in vintage brake and gear levers, mainly Shimano STI and Campagnolo Ergopower.

I am Martin Olejníček, a sole proprietor based in Taninges, Haute-Savoie. I disassemble, clean, inspect, and recondition mechanisms to bring old, hard-to-find parts back into service.

The products offered are primarily used or reconditioned. Their actual condition is presented in each product description and in the photographs. Compatibility, number of speeds, and model reference are indicated as precisely as possible.

A large proportion of vintage levers suffer from hardened grease, jammed pawls, worn springs, or damaged small parts. My work involves diagnosing these defects, restoring the mechanism to working order, and checking its functionality before sale.

Shifter Doctor also purchases certain faulty, incomplete, or seized Shimano and Campagnolo levers for repair or to salvage spare parts needed for other restorations.
