Repair and reconditioning

Reconditioning includes disassembling the mechanism when necessary, cleaning old grease and deposits, checking pawls, springs and pivots, appropriate lubrication, reassembly, and then a full shifting test.

The goal is to keep original Shimano parts as much as possible and restore the mechanism to reliable working order.
